I purchased a chrome one like this model and have had nothing but bad luck with it. When I first turned it on the colors were all wrong, grass was brown and leaves on trees were pinkest.Then water got inside the lenes then there was no image at all. Sent in to be replaced or repaired which you have to pay for shipping to them. They sent me another camera but it was defective as well. Now having to send another one back and have to pay for shipping again.This will make the third one and hope this next one works or I will be asking for Crimestopper to refund the paid price.My advice is read a warranty closely and purcahse a better brand even if you have to pay more for it.

I had a somewhat novel idea. Put a camera on the front of my truck. Silly you may say.I looked far and wide for what seemed like a simple enough item to finally end up on this.My head unit can mirror the camera's image, and there are many backup cameras that come un-mirrored, but this was the only one that could be either which means I have matching front and rear cameras.The frame is very nice looking and the camera quality is better than the ~$20 cameras I purchased previously. It doesn't collect water in the lens like cheaper cameras and seems built to last. I assumed it was a plastic frame but it's a solid feeling metal material.Anyway, why the front camera? As any off-roader will tell you, cresting over hills can be quite a pain. Now I can see what's in front of me when my hood is in the way ;)The price is a little high in my opinion, but for my use, was unavoidable. It's also worth much more than cheap ones I've used...4/5 seems about right. If it were under $50 it'd get 5 stars.

So far so good, very easy to install but time consuming, specially adapting the license plate frame, I had drill the two bottom holes in my Nissan Altima 2005.
