Neat functionality, additional range is A FARCE

Purchased this product for the 2 way communication function primarily as working away from windows, knowing the vehicle is running when you initiate the remote start is handy. I found however the new "extended range" is really now further than the original remote. I like the extras the remote offers, but the lack of ranged promised is a real bummer. I still have to get up and walk to the window to communicate with my truck and being I can see the truck start, defeats the 2 way communication.
