I had backup cameras in the past for my RV and also my Excursion to help hook up the trailer. I normally purchase Audiovox equipment so this is the first time I bought a Boyo. I had Best Buy install it after I found out that it was only going to be $80 to have it installed. This is well worth it considering you have to run wires to the monitor.I also purchased the Boyo 3.6" monitor as well. I was very impressed with the camera performance both night and day. It also gives you a nice wide view of the back of the car. The camera is preadjusted from the factory but you can adjust it to tailor your needs. The installation was pretty straight forward as well. Overall I am very impressed with the performance. I was debating about the wireless model and actually wound up buying one but then returned it as the stereo shops told me that whenever they have installed the wireless ones, they have to take them out and put in the hard wired because of interference.Also, the rear license plate does not look bad. It doesnt make the car look like a Special Ed car. The license plate frame complements the car nicely.

Had a blast running wires through my SUV from the rear hatch to the head unit. Color is great, resolution is good, works well in the dark too. Could have a little wider view to see the outside corners if the truck, but that may be too much to ask. The only complaint is the micro wires they give to do the connection, very annoying.At the end of the day i have asked myself,"did i really need this?"

Purchased/installed this item June '09. Worked great until Jan/Feb '10. During this time I would get intermittent video or video with lines across the screen. Eventually it just died. When I inspected the item I found that it had corroded. You would think they would seal these things up better given that it is exposed to the elements 24/7. I would never buy this again not worth the cost or headache.
