The picture quality looks much better than some others that I've seen and the colors look pretty accurate. The low light image could be a little better, but it's still usable. Frame is very sturdy and mounts with the bolts pointed in so that it would be almost impossible to steal on a truck especially since the spare tire has to drop to mount it. The camera is very inconspicuous too so it doesn't draw much attention for thieves anyway.

Have had this installed for a year and never paid it any attention. It simply works and provides a great picture. Came with plenty of cable to install in an Excursion. Note this unit will simply provide a picture. There are some models that will also display a proximity overlay (kind of like a gun sight) to tell you how close you are to something behind you. This model does NOT do that - it only supplies a picture.
