This keyless entry system is the perfect fit for the following Mercedes Benz models: C-Class W201 (1984-1993), E-Class W123 (1984-1986), E-Class W124 (1986-1995), S-Class & CL-Class W126 (1984-1992), SL-Class W107 (1984-89), and SL-Class W129 (1989-2003). ***Earlier models built before 1984 might require a 2-wire door lock actuator to be installed inside the driver's door. We do offer another keyless entry system part number MB3500K2 complete with the actuator.
It allows you to lock and unlock the doors and trunk with a push of a button using the new style flip key remotes*. A parking light flash provides a visual confirmation. It also has two outputs for other accessories such as window module or trunk release module, or can be used for factory alarm activation.
One good reason to install this system into your Benz is that it will take the load off of the lock cylinder links, which are known to break often.
This complete keyless entry system has everything you need for installation. You will get a CD installation manual complete with a wiring chart for the do-it-yourself installer, as well as a professional installer's guide. In addition, you will receive technical support when needed, by phone or E-Mail.

Works great! Had the remote unlock/lock feature wired up and working in about 20 minutes. The wiring for the lights took a little while as I had to find the correct wires and not feed back electric through the Mercedes system and turn on unwanted lights. The directions were very clear and overall a real nice package. I did not use the horn or hook up to the original security system, all I needed was remote unlock and lock. Had one key cut at a locksmith and it cost $35.00, haven't done the other yet. Installed on a 1993 Mercedes W124 300D.
