This unique product is a "switchblade" style remote + key combo unit. It performs two functions: It works as a key AND a keyless entry remote. With the press of the silver button, the hidden keyblade is spring-released, automatically locking into the useful position. Press the button again so you can press the blade back into it's hidden position. This device is made of high-quality, high-impact ABS plastic and chrome steel components. It also has a high-quality feel. Depending on your vehicle you may need to have one or both devices, the key and the remote, programmed to your specific vehicle.

Overall I'm satisfied with this key, I ordered it from Discount Keyless and it arrived fairly quickly. It seems to be fairly good quality but will see with time how the switchblade key holds up. The main thing I would like to point out is this key has to be cut and then programmed by Honda and although they were very skeptical at the dealership that it would work, it did. Keep in mind different dealerships may charge differently but mine cost hundred and twelve to cut and program. If your wondering they wanted hundred and sixty if I didn't provide my own key. Also this key is an aftermarket part not genuine Honda part, the dealership was quite impressed with it, they said they have never seen one before like it, that worked.

serves the purpose. After some use the key regularly jams but for the price its not a big deal for me.

I have been very satisfied with this product! It's even better than described on this site. It came with the Honda logo and the buttons are high-quality. The key-ring isn't on the right side as the picture shows, it's actually across the bottom which makes it much more useful. I am very happy with my purchase!
