Incredible Sound and a Great Bargain

I purchased these speakers to complete my 7.1 surround sound home theatre system. I have Advent bookshelf speakers for the front right, front left and center speakers and Paradigm Titan speakers for the rear right and rear left speakers. The Yamaha NS-5290 speakers provide the sound for the right and left positions. They are more than adequate for the job. These speakers are a bargain and I highly recommend them.

Excellent

I bought a pair of these speakers at Goodwill for $10 and hooked them up to a very cheap Emerson radio/cd player. I've never heard my Houston radio sound so good. Same with my CDs. What I thought was a crummy cheap radio is now an awesome player. Would recommend to everyone I know. Even though they are "old" and aren't made anymore, they work better than most other speakers in $150 or less price range. Don't let the age convince you other wise. Go with this set. They will change your life.
