This subwoofer is sturdy and heavy, and its structure will blow you away. It requires a small box since it does not need the help of a big box to help it produce sound; it will produce low notes on its own. I had originally given this product three stars, but now I give it four stars. My speaker box had no Pollyfil. I used insulation and the sound changed drastically, and I also cut frequencies over 100hz. I downloaded an app for my Ipod called signal generator which helped me check my peaks and valleys. I found out that you just can't throw a sub in a box and expect for it to sound great.Pros:1. It requires a small enclosure and still hit the low notes. (vb 1.14)2. It is sturdy and will last.3. Very nice look.Cons:None this time around.
