I was skeptical about getting this amp becauae i usually go for monster-sized amps for "show points"... im glad i went with this for my mustang gt vert. I have it powering two american bass xd 8" subs in a ported box tuned to 36hz(highly recommend this combo). Played it at one ohm pretty loud for about an hour the first night i got it and it was still cool when i got out of my car. My only complaint is the spade terminal connection instead of the direct power/ground wire connection. Other than that its an A+++
