5WORKS!

OK...now lets start by saying that this is no Pioneer, Clarion, or other high end stereo...that being said, for the price it is hard to say anything bad about the unit. The instructions are not grade A for install, but the stereo itself does have the wire diagram on it, so what else do you need for install(if you have any clue how to install stereo that is all you need). The Stereo works very well once installed. The touch screen is responsive and the screen is pretty crisp and bright(it is a bit washed in high light conditions, but not the worst I have seen). Bluetooth works fine but not the best...AD2P works as well, again not the best...a bit of background noise, no problems from either though(AD2P music can be played/paused/skip forward on the touch screen and hard buttons). DVDs play nicely and load time is about 10-15 seconds and I used a regular DVD and a burnt one, so both worked fine...a bit of noise from disc spinning, but not horrible. All you have to do is fix the pink wire which is the hand break wire to the metal sheathing of the stereo itself and viola, no problems playing any time...drive or parked. Back up camera is perfect...put it in reverse and almost instantly pops into camera mode, then right out as soon as the vehicle is out of reverse, simple RCA video in, the music volume is lowered when in reverse just fyi, think you can change that in settings though, not sure. Have not used IPOD connector yet, but it is long enough to reach my glove box which is nice. The unit only lights up the hard buttons when the vehicle lights are on, but looks pretty good, bright blue color, but not too bright to mess with night driving. The hard buttons themselves are pretty well layed out and work fine...seem a bit cheap, but no problems. The UI is easy to navigate and fine tune allot of options...there are like 5 backgrounds to choose from and rock/pop/classical EQ to choose from. Bass, treble, balance, and fade options are there. The sound is OK, not the best stereo I have ever owned, but sounds fine for factory speakers. Now it does state smart steering wheel learning so as to keep your steering wheel controls for the stereo. Now in its defense I installed this in a Dodge which required a Can Bus interface to make the stereo even work, so this could be the problem, I don't think this is why, but maybe. The smart steering wheel learning is in the settings with a steering wheel logo. once there it says to enter steering wheel key. So I push one of the steering wheel buttons, and sometimes a response is logged on the stereo, sometimes not, you then push on the response and assign it a function, i.e. volume+, volume-, seek+, seek-, CH+, CH-, hands free answer, etc...however, the most I could ever get it to do was the volume would just start going up and up on the stereo uncontrollably, So this feature is there, but I would not count on it. I am about 90% sure I have the SWC wires hooked up right, but maybe not. It does also have USB, AUX in, and SD card abilities, but I have not used any of them yet, can't imagine any problems though. Overall this stereo looks pretty good, sounds pretty good, and functions great...I would recommend it to anyone, for the price and all the features it is well worth it. As far as longevity is concerned we will see. I did purchase a Square Deal 3 year warranty to be on safe side, oh, and by the way buy this on Ebay from someone like [...], they were way cheaper than Amazon($165), offered free shipping, and free dash kit with antenna adapter(antenna adapter is because Dodge is retarded and uses EU antenna connections). I will update this in the future after more use with the stereo.

well recived this unit but was suppose to get older model the user manual blow your nose it in. thats all thats worth. ipod works good sounds really powerful. touch screen is not too sensitive. i dont have the buttons lit up dont know why. theres a few extra wires no clue what they are for. dvd wont work says cant play in drive but i am in park . nice clean screen. figuring out features is a task havent got them all yet . says dual zone can play radio and dvd at same time im guessing no. theres no tech support company i got it from wont return emails . you need to get antenna adapter and wire harness. insrall not too bad but again i am missing a lot of features so i am looking for tech support ill keep you posted
