Let me start out by saying it reminds me of a Japanese cartoon opening every time I turn it on "Ouku' " is the first thing you see on the display. This is a good product, specially for the price! picture is clear and the screen moves and swivels about 270 degrees allowing you the best viewing. There is some glare in direct sunlight but all you have to do is adjust the screen left or right a little and you can see just fine. I primarily bought this because it has the built in USB/SD ports in the side of the screen. I use the DVD player a little but I use it more for music files. It tends to vibrate a little while playing disc's due to the fact that the DVD player is on the back of the monitor. On the plus side there is no need for and external DVD player, everything is built right in! It has built in lighting but I don't think this should be used as your primary interior lighting because it only lights up a small area directly below where you mounted it. It gets the job done and keeps money in your pocket.
