I bought this to power a 10" sub to replace the factory 8" in my truck. I was worried it would be under-powered, but was pleasantly surprised. It has plenty of power and is very clean. I would have no reservation in recommending this to power a 12" either, as I powered a 12" home sub with it before installing in my truck.
